Ooredoo opens registration for Doha marathon

Ooredoo has said that they will pay the registration fee for the 15 Maldivian runners that want to participate in the Qatar, Doha Marathon organized by Ooredoo Group.

The yearly marathon has been set for 16th January 2026, with registration currently open. The deadline for registration is 24th November 2025.

Those who have the capability health-wise to do a half marathon or a full marathon and have done so in the past can participate. Participants must also have a valid Maldivian passport that complies with Qatar's entry requirements.

The Doha Marathon is an yearly event organized by Ooredoo Group in Qatar. This year will see around 15,000 runners take part.
