Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has opened a new service center in Laamu Atoll Fonadhoo,.
The new center, located at the Fonadhoo ferry terminal, was officially opened by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.
According to MIB, the Fonadhoo Service Center offers the full range of banking services, including deposit and withdrawal facilities, along with 24-hour ATM access.
The opening of the Fonadhoo center is part of MIB’s broader strategy to expand its network nationwide and make banking more accessible to communities across Maldives.
This marks MIB’s third service center in Laamu Atoll, following its existing centers in Kadhdhoo and Gan.
MIB already operates service centers in several atolls and continues to enhance its digital banking services, allowing customers across the country to open new accounts and apply for financing online.
