Allied Takaful launches online ‘Fire Takaful’ service

Allied Takaful, the Islamic window of Allied Insurance, has announced that its Fire Takaful product can now be purchased online.

The company said the new digital service allows customers to obtain coverage quickly and easily through the My Takaful platform, without the need to submit documents.

Like all Allied Takaful products, Fire Takaful is designed in accordance with Islamic Shariah principles. The plan targets small and medium-sized enterprises, offering protection against fire damage, natural disasters, and other financial losses. It also covers damage resulting from riots, protests, burst water tanks or pipes, and theft.

Businesses such as bakeries, restaurants, gyms, salons, workshops, warehouses, and dive centres are among those eligible for coverage, which can be customised to meet specific needs.

Allied Takaful said the product aims to make financial protection for businesses across the Maldives easier, faster and more affordable.
