MPL opens applications for internship programme

Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has opened applications for its internship programme.

This year, the programme offers 10 placements across seven departments this year.

The one month programme will provide work experience in marketing and PR, administration, finance, procurement, information technology and engineering.

Students under the age of 18 who have completed Grade 10 are eligible to apply.

Applicants are required to fill out a dedicated Google form and submit a copy of their ID card, CV, school leaving certificate and a no objection letter from a parent or guardian.

Launched in 2022, MPL’s internship programme aims to provide secondary school graduates with practical workplace experience and training. More than 30 students have completed the programme so far.

Selected participants will be mentored by experienced MPL employees, who will guide them through hands on learning and skill development during the placement.
