Coffee Day celebrated at Maagiri with Illy's flavors

In celebration of International Coffee Day last Thursday, a special event took place at Maagiri Hotel in collaboration with SIMDI Resu.

The event was attended by coffee lovers, workers from the hospitality industry and influencers. The event saw SIMDI introduce new drinks from Illy. SIMDI stated that the event received a warm welcome, with famous singer Ahmed Humaam (Zolo) performing at the venue.

SIMDI also said that the event allowed attendees to fully experience Illy's coffee.

The International Coffee Day event saw the end to a special promotion that was underway by SIMDI and Maagiri. The promotion saw contestants order an Illy coffee from Maagiri Hotel's restaurant, with them posting a picture of the coffee on their Instagram profiles.

A winner was chosen at random and was announced at the International Coffee Day event, with the prize being an Illy X9 iperEspresso coffee machine.

SIMDI introduced Illy Coffee's brand new flavors to the market last year. This includes Caramel Macchiato, Espresso Martini, Chocolate Cookie Frappe, Cappuccino, Vanilla Latte', Date and Popcorn Freak Shake and Coffee Manhattan. The brand new flavors are available at Maagiri.

SIMDI is the authorized distributor of Illy products in Maldives.
