Ooredoo Nation has successfully concluded and handed over the prizes for the winning teams of the Atolls League, which was open to all the atolls of the Maldives.
The tournament was the first e-sports tournament open to the whole country. The league, which began last August, featured 49 teams from 35 islands in 16 atolls. A total of 294 gamers played PUBG Mobile in the tournament.

The prize-giving ceremony was held at the Ooredoo head office yesterday. The ceremony was attended by the winners and their respective island councils.
The champion team received MVR 25,000. The winner was Komandoo’s SDMZ NG. The runner-up of the tournament won MVR 12,000. The winner was Fuvahmulah City’s AKZ. For the third prize, MVR 6,000 was won by L. Fonadhoo’s DMZ. Fourth place was won by Team B of Kudarikilu, who received MVR 3,000. The MVP of the league was awarded MVR 4,000. The MVP winner was Maanu from Fuvahmulah City’s AKZ.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Ooredoo Chief Commercial Officer Hussain Niyaz said the Ooredoo Nation Atoll E-sports League is an important milestone in the company's efforts to empower the Dhivehi gaming community. This is the first online tournament open to the whole country, and players from 16 atolls had the opportunity to represent their atolls.
Ooredoo Nation is a platform launched by Ooredoo to empower Dhivehi gamers, provide new opportunities for gamers, and develop e-sports in the Maldives. Ooredoo Nation has successfully hosted many gaming tournaments.
