Ooredoo Maldives’ m-Faisaa partnered with Fathuruverin Travels to provide customers with a new digital travel insurance solution powered by Amana Takaful. The partnership allows travellers to book curated trips with the agency while securing comprehensive coverage directly through the Ooredoo SuperApp.
Fathuruverin, known for designing immersive and unique travel experiences, says the move is part of its mission to make adventures not only inspiring but also worry-free. Through the integration, customers can purchase m-Faisaa Travel Insurance quickly via their digital wallet, adding convenience to the booking process.
The insurance package offers broad protection for overseas travellers, including:
- Coverage of up to MVR 771,000 for disability or death due to accidents during the insured period.
- Coverage of up to MVR 1,542,000 for emergency medical expenses.
- Protection against cancellation, curtailment, loss of passport, and loss of checked-in baggage.
- Compensation for missed departures, missed connecting flights, and travel delays over 12 hours.
The collaboration aims to address common travel risks while keeping the process simple and accessible. “This ensures our customers can focus on enjoying their journeys while knowing they are financially protected,” Fathuruverin said in a statement.
Ooredoo Maldives introduced the m-Faisaa Travel Insurance product earlier this year as part of its push to expand digital services across the country. With this partnership, Fathuruverin customers can now combine tailor-made travel experiences with insurance designed for today’s fast-moving travellers.
