Alia to hold blood donation camp in Hulhumale' this Saturday

Alia, in collaboration with Maldivian Blood Service, will host a blood donation drive this Saturday.

The blood donation camp will be held at Thalassemia Center in Orange Hiyaa, Hulhumale' from 9 am to 6 pm.

Alia said the initiative aims to normalize blood donation and foster a society that cares for one another and is ready to help when needed.

The National Blood Service noted that the number of blood donors has declined, creating challenges in maintaining adequate supplies. First time donors have also decreased in number, they added.

Alia has encouraged as many people as possible to take part in the blood donation camp.
