Faarihath appointed as Operations Director of SDFC

SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) has appointed Fathimath Faarihath Waheed as its new Operations Director.

Faarihath previously served as Head of Card Networks and Strategic Partnerships at Bank of Maldives, bringing over 19 years of experience in banking and financial services.

Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership roles including Head of Card Payments and Governance, and Head of Strategy and Change.

She holds a Master of International Business from Monash University Malaysia and is a Chartered Banker, certified by the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers.

In her new role, Faarihath will oversee SDFC’s administration, procurement, human resources, marketing, business development, and information systems functions.
