Tree Top has concluded their health camp that was held at HA. Dhidhdhoo.
The camp was held at the HA. Atoll Hospital from 15th to 16th August and had treated 336 patients. Tree Top has said that the purpose of the camp was to provide top-of-the-line health care and services for the residents of Dhidhdhoo, the surrounding islands and individuals from nearby resorts.
A dedicated team of doctors participated in the health camp. Specialists from the following fields partook:
- Cardiology.
- Orthopedics.
- ENT.
- Pulmonology.
- Gynaecology.
- Nutrition.
Tree Top provided certain medications free of charge, along with some medical tests as well.
Doctors who took part in the camp has emphasized the importance of providing medical services to various atolls and its islands. They also said it is also a relief for island residents that specialists from Tree Top would travel to them, instead of them travelling to Male' to seek medical attention at the expense of a costly trip.
This marks the third health camp held by Tree Top Hospital. April and May saw health camps conducted in Th. Veymandhoo and Dh. Kudahuvadhoo, respectively. Health camps were also conducted last year at GA. Vilingili, GDh. Thinadhoo and L. Gan. Over 3,500 patients have been treated across all health camps.
These health camps are a part of Tree Top's corporate social responsibility pledges. The aim of these programs are to provide island residents with top-tier medical care.
