Ooredoo to launch 'Boduberu' classes with Habeys Boduberu

Four separate classes will be held to teach boduberu skills, a huge part of Maldives' cultural identity. The classes are completely free of charge, Ooredoo said.

Ooredoo is set to commence special 'boduberu' classes with Ooredoo Ambassador, popular Habeys Boduberu Group. Boduberu is a traditional form of music involving rhythmic drumming, singing and energetic dance movements.

Ooredoo announced that applications are now open to join the special Boduberun classes.

Four separate classes will be held to teach boduberu skills, a huge part of Maldives' cultural identity. The classes are completely free of charge, Ooredoo said.

Applications to join the classes can be submitted via the Ooredoo website. Slots in the classes are granted on a first come first basis, with slots guaranteed for the first twenty to apply. The deadline for registration is August 16. Persons above the age of 18 are eligible to apply.

The classes will be held on August 16, 23, 30 and September 6 at the Ooredoo Maldives Headquarters in Hulhumale'.
