Independence day themed Dhiraagu street exhibitions unveiled

Dhiraagu has set up themed street exhibitions have been across the country in celebration of Maldives' 60th Independence Day.

Male' had the exhibition set up on Sunday and Monday, along with other islands such as Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi, Baa Eydhafushi, Alif Dhaalu Dhangethi, Laamu Gan, Gaafu Dhaalu Thinadhoo, Fuvahmulah and Addu Hithadhoo.

Dhiraagu said the exhibition, which featured drawings symbolizing the Maldivian spirit, attracted a lot of attention.

The exhibition was conducted in line with Dhiraagu's 2025 calendar theme "Minivankan Mathee Abadhah" or "Forever Independent".

The calendar was also made with Maldives' 60th year of independence in mind.

The company's Manager Brand and Events, Naiya Shareef, said Dhiraagu was delighted to have the opportunity to celebrate Independence Day through street exhibitions showcasing Maldives' rich culture and customs.
