Tree Top Hospital offers free fertility specialist consultations to mark IVF Day

To mark World IVF Day, Tree Top Hospital is offering free consultations with fertility specialists. Registrations are now open, the hospital said.

Under this program, 75 individuals will be granted free consultations through registering ahead.

The consultants who will see the patients under this program are Dr Zakiya Ahmed, Dr Varsha Rengaraj and Dr Anita Gour from the Tree Top Hospital Fertility Clinic.

Tree Top Hospital said that since launching its IVF Centre in 2023, a total of 13 patients have successfully completed their pregnancies through IVF and IUI services. Two of them gave birth to twins, the hospital said.

In addition to fertility treatment, the hospital's Women and Child Centre also provides pregnancy and childbirth care and paediatric services.

The hospital highlighted that with the services now being available in the country, patients now have the option to undergo treatment while being close to their families instead of having to travel abroad.

Tree Top Hospital aims to provide quality, affordable care to Maldivians. They said that their fertility centre's success rate has been maintained at international levels.

World IVF Day is marked annually on July 25.
