Dhiraagu provides assistance to awareness campaign for visually impaired in Shaviyani atoll

Dhiraagu is assisting an awareness camp organized by the Blind and Visually Impaired Society of the Maldives (BVISM) in Shaviyani Atoll as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.

In addition to backing the camp, Dhiraagu has pledged continued support through its free conference call platform, which enables BVISM members to hold virtual meetings, training sessions, and awareness programs. The service helps address accessibility challenges faced by persons with disabilities, enhancing their inclusion in community activities.

BVISM, which advocates for the rights of the visually impaired in the Maldives, is conducting special programs in Kanditheemu, Milandhoo, Funadhoo, and Komandoo. These events aim to support the inclusion of visually impaired children in the society and raise public awareness.

Dhiraagu’s CSR program continues to facilitate projects focused on empowerment and community development across the country.
