Mihaaru News has signed as the official media partner for the upcoming attempt at Guinness World Record snorkeling event, organized by Baani in collaboration with Freedive Maldives.
The partnership agreement was signed at a ceremony held yesterday at Mihaaru’s office.
Freedive Maldives Manager Hawwah Naufa signed on behalf of the organisation, while Mihaaru News Editor Ahmed Hamdoon represented the publication.
Under the agreement, Mihaaru will provide exclusive news coverage and updates related to the event.
The world record attempt, scheduled for 4 October at Angafaru Bay in Baa Atoll, aims to set a new benchmark for the largest number of people snorkelling simultaneously.
The initiative also seeks to raise awareness about marine conservation and promote local tourism in Baa Atoll.
