The deadline to register for the upcoming MV Run organized by TFG, one of the largest fitness centers in Maldives, will expire tomorrow.

Set to take place on June 20, MV Run is a highly anticipated annual event that brings together both professional and recreational runners from across the country.

Participants in this year’s run are required to complete a 5-kilometer distance within 50 minutes. To accommodate various skill levels, TFG has introduced two separate categories, one for professional athletes and another for recreational runners.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the professional category for both men and women. The first-place winners will receive MVR 7,500, second-place MVR 4,500, and third-place MVR 2,500.

In addition to the competition, all participants will receive a commemorative medal. This year's medal design draws inspiration from the Maldivian five Laari coin, continuing TFG's tradition of basing each year's medal on Maldivian currency. TFG has expressed confidence that this year’s design will be well-received as well.

A lucky draw will be held among all participants, with 10 winners each receiving MVR 10,000 in cash prizes.

The event will include age-based categories including Under 19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, and 50 and over.

To prepare for race day, a special expo will be held from June 17 to 19 at Haivakaruge on Dhunburu Magu from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. During the expo, participants can collect their race bibs.

MV Run will officially begin at 7:00 am on June 20 at Central Park in Hulhumale'.
