National airline Maldivian will operate 111 flights across Maldives during the upcoming Eid holidays, Island Aviation said today.
The airline has increased flights to all destinations between June 1 and 9 to accommodate high demand during the holiday period.
The highest number of flights this Eid is for Laamu atoll Kadhdhoo.
Maldivian increases domestic operations every Eid based on passenger demand. Last year, 30 additional flights were added during the holidays.
The airline currently operates to 17 destinations in the atolls and has expanded its international services to three cities in China, three cities in India, and Malaysia.
Maldivian’s fleet includes 25 aircraft, with five ATR aircraft and 11 seaplanes used for domestic operations.
