As part of the preparations, several partners have joined the record attempt. Ayala Bubbles has been named the official dive equipment partner and will offer participants gear at discounted rates. Bonaqua has signed on as the event’s beverage partner, while Travelution will serve as the travel media partner.

Freedive Maldives said the event aims to promote sustainable tourism in Baa atoll and raise awareness about environmental degradation in marine areas. The region, part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, is known for its biodiversity and rich coral ecosystems.

Freedive Maldives has previously hosted two Guinness World Record events under the “Neyva” brand, both focused on freediving.
