TFG, one of the Maldives’ leading gyms, has opened registration for this year’s MV Run.
The run is set to take place on June 20 at 7:00 am at Central Park in Hulhumale'.
The event is divided into two categories competitive and recreational and welcomes runners of all levels.
The run aims to complete a 5-kilometer course within 50 minutes, with all finishers entered into a lucky draw for a MVR 10,000 cash prize and 10 non-cash prizes.
In the competitive category, cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in both the men’s and women’s divisions:
- First place: MVR 7,500
- Second place: MVR 4,500
- Third place: MVR 2,500
TFG said that they received an overwhelming response to the event, with the initial slots for professional runners already filled. As a result, an additional 50 slots have been opened to accommodate demand.
Recreational runners will also be eligible for special prizes for fastest finishers, encouraging wide participation from the community.
