Registrar of Companies Mariyam Visam resigns

Mariyam Visam has resigned from her post as Registrar of Companies after serving for 11 years.

According to reports from some media outlets, Visam stepped down to enter the private sector.

She holds a degree in Marketing Management and a Master’s in Economics from overseas.

Throughout her career, she has held senior positions at the Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) and served as the Registrar of Companies under former Presidents Abdulla Yameen and Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
