Deadline for applying for participation in the Ooredoo Doha Marathon is February 10, 2024. Two lucky winners will be chosen to participate in the marathon scheduled to be held in Qatar on February 16.
Ooredoo Maldives offers a chance for two customers chosen through a lucky draw to participate in the Doha Marathon by Ooredoo, scheduled to be held in Qatar on the 16th of this month.
Applicants must have been an Ooredoo customer for a minimum period of one year, have participated in a half marathon or a marathon previously, and hold a valid Maldivian passport fulfilling travel requirements to Qatar.
The race offers the chance to win two new Volkswagen cars, through a raffle amongst all participants who complete the race.
The Doha Marathon is now a World Athletics Gold Label Road Race and is expected to have 15,000 runners participating in the event this year.
Brand Ambassador Mutaz Barshim - the Olympic high jump champion - is expected to attend the event.
The event includes six race categories, welcoming participation from all ages and abilities.
The Doha Marathon has been held since 2013.
