Dhiraagu held the graduation ceremony of Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program on Thursday.

On the occasion, certificates were given to 13 people who completed the program. Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusan presented certificates to the participants.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Ihusan said that the program provides important avenues for the development and skill of the youth of the country. Ihsan also highlighted Dhiraagu's efforts to build youth.

Speaking on the occasion, CEO and Managing Director of Dhiraagu Ismail Rasheed said that empowering the youth and creating opportunities for growth is one of the main goals of Dhiraagu's CSR program. He added that such programs will help create an inclusive and sustainable “Digital Maldives” as well.

During the graduation ceremony of the apprenticeship program, participants from the next batch of apprentice programs were given a letter of engagement with the program. There are 21 applicants in this batch.

The Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program is one of the company's most important CSR programs that focuses on developing employment skills of the country's youth. This is the first such corporate apprenticeship program to be widely launched in the country.

The program was launched in 2009. Dhiraagu has been running the programe every year, with a total of 268 youths having completed it so far.
