The Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme for 2023 is currently accepting applications.
This initiative reflects the company's commitment to social responsibility by empowering young individuals. Its primary goal is to enhance the understanding of the working environment among youth.
This program will offer participants a diverse range of workplace training and hands-on experience. Additionally, it will focus on enhancing participants' soft skills and essential workplace competencies, including time management and project management.
Opportunities within the program encompass on-the-job training and compensation in various areas such as Dhiraagu's Administration, Brand & Marketing Communications, Corporate Services, Deployment Support Services, Financial Accounting, Human Resources, Network Operations, Product & Solution Development, Revenue Assurance & Business Control.
The program primarily targets local youth between the ages of 18 and 30. Dhiraagu gives preference to individuals who have completed their A-levels or Bachelor's degree but lack prior job experience.
The program will be conducted at Dhiraagu's operation centers in Seenu Thinadhoo and Laamu, as well as in Male'. This initiative provides a unique chance for youth residing in atolls to acquire work experience in their own islands or atolls.
Interested individuals have until the 18th of November to apply for this program.
The Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program was inaugurated in 2009 and has so far involved over 247 young participants.
