Special bus trips for school students this Ramadan

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that additional buses will be operated to the second phase of Hulhumalé for school children during the month of Ramadan.

Special bus services will also be available on the R6 and R8 routes during non-official holidays.

The bus service for school children will be available at the Hiya Flat Stop at 7:50 a.m. and will leave the stop at 8:05 a.m.

The bus on the R6 route will make stops at the Synthetic Track, Amin Avenue, and Flat 120.

MTCC has stated that a parent can travel with each child on the special buses for school children.

The increase in bus services is due to the rise in the number of passengers on these routes. MTCC has been increasing its services during peak times, and more buses have already been deployed during school hours.
