Island Aviation Services (IAS) has launched a fundraising campaign to help those affected by the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

The company has established a fund that is open to both its staff and the general public, who may send donations until March 1.

Donations can be made to IAS's Bank of Maldives (BML) accounts: 7702128184991 (MVR) and 7702128184002 (USD).

The earthquake that struck the region on February 6th caused widespread damage and loss of life, with reports suggesting that the death toll may be close to 50,000.

IAS hopes to raise funds to assist those affected by the disaster, and encourages anyone who is able to contribute to do so.
