Bank of Maldives (BML) has acknowledged and awarded its best performing employees at their Annual Staff Awards.
The national bank held its staff awarding event on Friday evening, October 14 at Social Center, Maafannu.

Both Hassan Aqleem (North Cluster Manager) and Mohamed Ashraf (Head of People Development) won the coveted Employee of the Year Award. Fathimath Farihath Waheed (Head of Cards & Payment Governance), Abdulla Sobah (Senior Manager, Premium Banking) and the BML Mobile App Team were recipients of the CEO's Award for Outstanding Achievement.

Mohamed Saeed (Public Relations Manager) received the Best Leader Award while Ali Zaid Mohamed (Compliance Manager) won the Best Manager Award.
Moreover, staff and teams who excelled over the past year were also presented with awards in multiple categories, which included;
- Best Atoll Branch
- Best Team
- Best Atoll Employee
- Customer Service Star
- Award for Innovation
The awards were presented by BML's In-charge and Acting MD Aishath Noordeen as well as members of the bank's board of directors and executive committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, Noordeen said, "I congratulate all the winners tonight and express my deep appreciation to all our staff for their immense contribution and commitment. As we look forward to celebrating our 40th anniversary next month, it is wonderful to recognize and appreciate our staff who are behind the bank's growth and success over the years."

According to BML, the Staff Awards represents one of the components of the bank's focused human resources strategies.
Earlier, the bank achieved the prestigious "Asia's Best Employer Brand Award" for the fourth consecutive year.
