State Trading Organization (STO) has begun selling lemons at a cheaper price.

The company imports and sells a kilo gram of lemons for MVR 45.

STO said that even if the price of lemons are reduced, it will be sold in limited quantities. STO People's Choice will sell lemons from the company's Agricenter. Each customer can purchase up to three kg of lemons.

STO imported lemons into The Maldives after their prices increased in the market. The price of a kilo of lemon in the market today is between MVR 120 and MVR 150.
