State Trading Organization (STO), on Sunday, appointed its former Procurement General Manager Mohamed Nizam as the company's Chief Financial Officer.
According to STO's spokesperson, the new appointment was made following the previous CFO Mohamed Mihad's resignation on October 30.
Nizam has more than 10 years of experience working at STO and holds a Masters in Finance and Accounting.
Mihad, who was the youngest CFO in the country, tendered his resignation to partner with KPMG Global, one of the world's leading consultancy firms, becoming the first Maldivian to do so.
