The Mookai Suites hotel in capital city Male', on Friday, celebrated its 12th anniversary.
Opened on 2008, Mookai Suites offered some of the largest hotel rooms in Male’ at the time.
Reflecting the challenging business environment caused by the pandemic, Mookai Suites moved towards providing long-lease hotel rooms, as well as quality office spaces for companies and individuals who require a presence in Male’.
Owned by local hospitality brand Kaimoo Resorts and Hotels, a wholly Maldivian-owned tourism company, Mookai Suites is the third Kaimoo property in the capital, alongside the Mookai Hotel and the Kam Hotel.
Segregated into three category of rooms, the hotel offers 'Penthouse Apartments', 'Suites', and 'Superior Rooms' to customers.
The hotel also boasts four multi-purpose meeting and conference rooms. While the meeting rooms can accommodate up to 15 people, the conference rooms can house 35 individuals.
"Mookai Suites provides Male’ with important business services such as top class conference facilities, and we now provide office space in a well located part of town", remarked the Hotel's General Manager Ibrahim Ali.

The hotel's restaurant 'K Cafe' located at the ground floor of the building , offers a range of International cuisine,and specialises in Sri Lankan foods. The restaurant caters to both in-house guests and walk-in customers.
