Telecommunications giant Ooredoo Maldives on Sunday, introduced its first 'Digital Centre' in capital city Male'.
Inaugurated by the Chairman Damian Phillip Chappel, accompanied by Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Najib Khan, the event was attended by the company's Board of Directors.

Ooredoo Maldives' 2020 Annual General Meeting is presently slated for March 2 at Kurumba Maldives.
The company also introduced a special postpaid plan for the deaf community in Maldives on February 25. Titled 'Mashaa Eku', the new postpaid plan enables free video calls via Viber and WhatsApp.
Moreover, Ooredoo established a dedicated Viber hotline (+960 9611929), available from 0830 - 1600 hrs from Sunday to Thursday, which allows hearing-impaired individuals to communicate via sign language with Ooredoo Customer Care, where 15 frontline staff were trained in basic sign language in collaboration with the Maldives Deaf Association.
