Bank of Maldives (BML) unveiled its new dedicated Account Opening and Loan Centre in the capital city on Wednesday.
Personal banking customers can open new accounts and apply for personal and housing loans at the Account Opening and Loan Centre, located on the first floor of the bank's Customer Service Centre in Male’ Square, which is open from 0830 to 1500 hrs. The main bank of Maldives stated that both services will be catered with pre-booked appointments, which customers can arrange by contacting the BML Contact Centre at +960 3330200.
“We have made a number of investments over the past year to enhance our services and this new Centre with its dedicated team of staff and modern premises will help to deliver to the high expectations of our customers", said BML's CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer regarding the new Account Opening and Loan Centre.
The new Centre is dedicated to account opening and loans for personal customers, while BML's Main Branch accepts applications for cards, and provides internet banking, international transfers and transactional services for personal customers. BML's Customer Service Centre is dedicated for statements, cheque books and card collection services, while the bank's business customers can access non-transactional services at BML's Business Centres.
BML currently has 38 branches across all 20 atolls of Maldives, along with 51 Self Service Banking Centres, 115 ATMs, 277 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services. The bank reiterated its commitment to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across the country.
