Vice President Faisal Naseem on Wednesday visited the Hotel Asia Exhibition & International Culinary Challenge 2019.
The exhibition kicked off on October 7 and went on until October 9, 2019, in Dharubaaruge convention centre.
The Vice President took time to meet with the organizers of the event and toured the exhibition, and observed the stalls featuring various hospitality products and services.
This years' exhibition with 160 stalls was the 15th edition of the event an featured exhibitors and brands from over 45 countries.
A notable part of the exhibition is the International Culinary Challenge. This years' challenge brought forth talents of 450 chefs, who competed in 22 categories. Professionals from 25 different nationalities adjudicated in the competition.
The Hotel Asia Exhibition was first held in 2000 and aims to connect hotels and resorts with suppliers in the industry.
