Airport Beach Hotel took was crowned the leading business hotel in Maldives at the South Asian Travel Awards 2019 held Sunday.
The award was received by General Manager of The Hawks Pvt Ltd Hussain Aman at a ceremony held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The stylish and modern Airport Beach Hotel, unveiled in 2014, is situated on reclaimed suburb Hulhumale' in close proximity to Velana International airport. The beach-front property boasts the only rooftop pool in Hulhumale'.
In addition, the hotel prioritises luxury and comfort above all else, offering airport shuttle service, complimentary access to the recreation area on the rooftop, jacuzzi and dining area, free Wi-Fi, room service, laundry service and 24-hour reception among others.
With 11 rooms catering mostly to clients ranging from international airline staff, business consultants, international tourists and local guests, the hotel also offers private airport pick-up for their customers in a luxury van.
Airport Beach Hotel is owned and operated by The Hawks Pvt Ltd, a local company founded in 2007 with its core business in the fuel industry and several subsidiaries. The company's extension in the hospitality industry was apparent with the unveiling of the second property Tropical Biosphere Hotel on Kamadhoo, Baa Atoll, in 2017.
