Reputed as an importer and distributor of high-quality fuel across Maldives, The Hawks Pvt Ltd caters to the varied demands of a range of clients, from luxury resorts to fishing vessels.

The most recent of the company’s milestones was the relocation of its corporate office to Boduthakurufaanu Magu, the ring road of capital Male’; a prime location for the head offices of several Maldivian resorts and transportation providers.

Situated on the seventh floor of Zoneriya Building in front of Fishermen’s Park, the modern and future-oriented office space enables all of Hawks’ departments to provide their services from under one roof, thereby boosting workflow and efficiency.

Hawks’ commitment to understanding customer needs is apparent in its new facility, which is designed to foster a welcoming environment for visitors at the reception area.

While the company's office will be open to those in need of services over weekends as well, additional information can be acquired via email or a brief visit to the sea view office. Notably, the requests of customers wishing to meet Hawks’ board members directly will also be accommodated.

The year 2019 further marked the expansion of Hawks’ vessel fleet with the oil barge, ‘Hawks Javaahiru’, commencing operations to supplement the company’s direct import of fuel. Hawks now operates a total of 13 vessels including bunker barges, with carrying capacities ranging from 200 to 4,000 metric tonnes.

The company is renowned for reliable deliveries to locations in both the north and south of Maldives. It supplies high-quality diesel, petrol, kerosene and lubricants to islands across the archipelago, including isles with shallow lagoons or poor harbour facilities.

The Hawks Pvt Ltd recently expanded its operational capabilities with the establishment of a fuel farm in the island of Thilafushi, Kaafu Atoll. Equipped with six tanks, the facility can hold up to 30 million litres at any given time, augmenting Hawk’s overall storage capacity by serving as a companion to its second fuel storage on Kamadhoo, Baa Atoll.

From the time of its establishment in 2007 by Chairman Ahmed Rasheed Hassan, Hawks has risen through the ranks to become one of the most noteworthy companies of Maldives. Despite humble beginnings, it has secured numerous local and international accolades in recognition for its excellence.

In response to burgeoning demand over its 12 years of service, Hawks dramatically expanded its portfolio of services to include brick manufacture, boatyard services, sea transportation via speedboats and ferries, as well as a lathe workshop.

The company’s reputable position in the Maldivian economy was most recently illustrated by its inclusion in the ‘Gold 100’, a listing of the top 100 companies in the country, curated by local business magazine, Corporate Maldives. The Hawks Pvt Ltd is lauded for its reliable, speedy and top-quality delivery contribution to Maldives’ speedily developing economy.
