The World Luxury Spa and Restaurant Awards declared LUX* South Ari Atoll as the winner of ‘Best Luxury Resort Spa’ in the Indian Ocean region for 2019.
The highly competitive 2019 World Luxury Spa and Restaurant Awards which recognises establishments for world-class service excellence, was hosted at the State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia.
More than 200 guests representing over 90 countries, 450 spas and 270 restaurants flew in from around the world to attend the fourth instalment of the awards.
The World Luxury Spa and Restaurant Awards are presented on a country, regional, continental and global basis. Winners are selected through an online public vote which ensures the recognition of hard work and dedication exhibited by the staff of various establishments.
“We are extremely honoured and proud to defend this position as we constantly strive to innovate, develop therapy practises and take on new challenges", said Director of Wellness and Spa at LUX* South Ari Atoll, Sindy Lagare.
The director credited the resort's hardworking staff with service improvements focused on quality and luxury.
"This is yet a milestone on our journey together with our lovely guests, and we are excited to keep going”, stated Lagare.
World Luxury Awards Group Marketing Director Michael Hunter-Smith warmly congratulated award winners for 2019.
