Telecommunications giant Dhiraagu, on Wednesday, announced that shows from popular children's television network Nickelodeon would be viewable on Dhiraagu TV's Video on Demand (VOD) platform.

The introduction of Nickelodeon shows is part of the telecom company's efforts to expand its VoD library. Nickelodeon, owned by Viacom Media Networks, is one of the most popular channels among families and children worldwide.

VoD is a modern platform which enables users to view entertainment programs or informative content. The platform was designed to be conveniently used by customers anytime and anywhere.

All users who have subscribed to VoD's Intro Offer and Basic Package can view content free of charge until December 31, 2019.

Since its introduction in 2017, Dhiraagu TV has provided services to 72 percent of the Maldivian population.
