The council first announced plans to demolish and replace the Alimas Carnival stage on December 5 last year.
The existing stage, built in 2004 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Majeedhiyya School, has been in a state of disrepair.
Sharing a preview of the new design, Malle' City Mayor Adam Azim stated that the long-neglected stage will soon be transformed into a "state-of-the-art" structure.
