The Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA) said that a large number of certificates submitted for validation will be filed away if not collected by the end of July.
The Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA) said yesterday that a large number of certificates submitted for validation will be filed away if not collected by the end of July.
MQA validates and stamps certificates to verify the authenticity of qualifications from universities both in the Maldives and abroad. The authority stated that there are many certificates that have not been collected after being submitted for validation.
In an announcement, MQA noted that they have observed many people not collecting their documents after certificate validation.
MQA appealed for certificates validated before December 31, 2022, to be collected by the end of this month. The authority said that certificates not collected within this period will be filed away.
According to MQA, if anyone needs their certificates after July this year, they will need to submit a new application for validation.
The authority has also requested people to collect their certificates that were validated over the past two years but remain uncollected as soon as possible.
