Baglioni Maldives to be unveiled March 2019

Baglioni Hotels, a well-known Italian hotel chain, is set to open its first resort in Maldives at Maagau Island, Dhaalu Atoll.

Baglioni Hotels, a well-known Italian hotel chain, is set to open its first resort in Maldives at Maagau Island, Dhaalu Atoll.

According to the official website, this exclusive resort features a total of 96 overwater villas as well as a Presidential Water Villa of 1,230 square meters.

Dining options include an all Italian style cuisine prepared by the top chefs in the resort.

For wellness oriented holiday-goers, Bagnioli Hotels offer an outdoor and indoor recreational centre. Furthermore, it features a kid’s club for children under the age of 12 that offers pizza and ice cream making classes.

This resort also includes water sports, a Thai Ayuruvedic garden spa and a dive centre as well.

Set to be the first five-star Italian property in Maldives, the resort is a 35-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport. Baglioni Hotels runs a chain of nine luxury hotels; six in Italy, three in France and one in London.
