A private academy focused on youth development in volleyball has been launched under the supervision of the national men’s team head coach, Mohamed Sharaf.

Sharaf serves as the Vice President and technical director of "My Sports Academy", which began its training sessions last month.

The academy currently trains over 50 students, primarily focusing on children under the age of 12. Sharaf said that the under-12 age group consists of children in grades one through five, where they will learn mini volleyball techniques.

The under-16 age group is for children in grades six through ten, and they will receive training in junior volleyball.

Sharaf said that he hopes to begin youth volleyball training after Ramadan, aimed at students in grades 11 and 12 or those under the age of 20.

My Sports Academy was founded by Sharaf and a group of his school friends.

The coaching staff includes two Sri Lankan coaches, selected through a process in which an experienced volleyball coaching team assessed their quality. Both Sri Lankan coaches have completed the FIVB coaching course levels.

Those interested in enrolling students can call 7496972 for registrations.
