Tree Top Hospital concludes health camp in Laamu atoll

A total of 300 individuals attended the health camp held in Laamu Gan. Combined with two earlier health camps, the hospital has provided consultations to approximately 917 Maldivians this year.

Tree Top hospital has concluded its third health camp of the year in Laamu atoll Gan.

The health camp was a held in collaboration with Gan Regional Hospital and Laamu Atoll Council.

The health camp facilitated specialized healthcare services directly to residents of Laamu atoll Gan and surrounding islands. Medical professionals from Tree Top Hospital provided consultations and health screening in addition to knowledge sharing on best practices to strengthen healthcare delivery across the atoll.

During the health camp Tree Top Hospital's Clinical Dietician Reeba Mary Tomychan conducted informative sessions on the importance of nutrition. The hospital said that these sessions were well received by the people.

The hospital said that one session educated the Gan Regional Hospital team on its role in treatment, while another session targeted empowering students at Laamu Hamad School with knowledge for healthy eating habits.

"We are grateful for the opportunity to serve the community of Laamu Gan and contribute to their overall well-being, our partnership with Gan Regional Hospital and Laamu Atoll Council has been instrumental in making this initiative a reality," Tree Top said.

"Our commitment is to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare to every Maldivian, regardless of location. Through these health camps, we are not only delivering medical care but also fostering a healthier and more informed community,” Dr Srivatsan Sridhar G, CEO of Tree Top Hospital said.
