A video shared by the ministry shows aid being distributed to families living in areas where homes have been destroyed by Israeli airstrikes. The food boxes are marked as donations from the Maldives Zakat House to the Palestinian people.
Maldives has provided humanitarian aid to Palestine via the Zakat Fund last year as well.
Earlier, drinking water was also supplied to affected communities.
Since October 2023, continuous Israeli attacks have devastated Gaza, resulting in thousands of deaths and the displacement of countless Palestinians.
