Maldives’ largest gaming festival, "Ooredoo Nation Gamers Land 2024," has successfully concluded.

The festival wrapped up with a cosplay competition, where participants showcased their impressive costumes and performed as their favorite characters. The winners were selected based on the creativity and execution of their costume and performance.

The cosplay competition saw Aishath Humaisaa Binth Yoosuf take the first prize of MVR 5,000, with Mariyam Areen Shahid securing second place and MVR 3,000. Mohamed Ameer Amir won the third prize and MVR 2,000.

The cosplay winners were awarded their prizes during the closing ceremony.

In addition to the cosplay segment, winners of the festival’s three major gaming competitions were also given prizes.

The SDMZ Esports team won the first-place prize of MVR 500,000 in the PubG Mobile Tournament. Akazaya Esports Team finished second, winning MVR 20,000, while LK Sky Force secured third place with MVR 15,000. The fourth prize of MVR 10,000 went to SDMZ NG team.

LNN Sleeping secured Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) championships, winning MVR 20,000, with Team Vigani taking second place wit a prize of MVR 15,000 and LNN SLFO Pilots finishing third with MVR 10,000.

In the EAFC tournament, Zameel Zihunee took home MVR 20,000 as the champion, with Janaan Mohamed winning second prize of MVR 15,000 and Mohamed Ayman finishing third with a prize of MVR 10,000.

The festival’s ultimate title, "Ultimate Player," was awarded to Haisham Waheed, who received a cash prize of MVR 30,000.

In total, the festival offered a prize pool of MVR 240,000, with MVPs also receiving MVR 5,000 in recognition of their achievements.

Additionally, the Best Caster of the Year and Best Console Gaming Community of the Year awards were presented during the ceremony.

Ooredoo Nation, a platform launched by Ooredoo to promote gaming and e-sports, has made significant strides in providing both national and international opportunities for gamers.

This year’s festival followed the success of last year’s inaugural event, and Ooredoo Nation continues to hold various gaming tournaments to support and celebrate the gaming community.
