State Trading Organisation (STO) opened a new pharmacy in the Maafannu ward of Malé City.
STO said the pharmacy, which is on the corner next to Veligaa Hardware, was opened to alleviate the difficulties faced by people who consult the many clinics in that area.
The pharmacy is designed based on a modern concept and offers a wide range of products used in hospitals as well as home medical equipment, products from their home care and personal care range.
The second floor of the two-floor pharmacy houses a variety of medical equipment and medical consumables. There is also a counter for wholesale customers on the floor.
The pharmacy will be open Saturday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm while Friday hours are shorter from 02:00 to 10:00 pm.
