Due to this, 44 people from 7 residences have been provided temporary shelter and food for a day.
The ongoing rains since last night have caused severe flooding in Male'. MNDF stated that as of 10 am this morning, 18,000 tonnes of flood water had been pumped out and various assistance had been provided to several households.
