Alia holds motorcycle promotion event

Alia, sole distributor of Yamaha in Maldives, is holding a special event in Hulhumale' Ruhgandu Area to promote the latest and most popular models of motorcycles. The event started yesterday, and will continue from 4pm to 10pm today. Alia stated that the company aims to showcase the new models of motorcycles built with the latest technology, and to allow visitors to experience the use of Yamaha motorcycles. Customers at yesterday's event who opted to make the full payment and purchase motorcycles were given a special discount. Those who chose to take motorcycles on an installment basis were also offered very low rates to be paid as down payment. The event also included special activities for children. There were also mechanics on the site who attended to existing customers who wanted their motorcycles serviced or oil changed. The event also provided motorcycle diagnosis services and test drives for interested persons. Alia's shariah compliant installment scheme allows customers to have motorcycles they purchase on monthly installment basis registered to their own names and to have a private license board. Alia stated that all motorcycles they sell can be registered in the customer's name once the first part of the full payment is made. Customers will have the option of deciding on the duration of the installment plan.
