There is no significant shortage of household gas cylinders, with only the 45 kg cylinders temporarily unavailable due to a shipment delay, Maldive Gas said today.
Speaking to Mihaaru News, Managing Director Abdulla Mohamed said that 2 kg, 5 kg, and 10 kg gas cylinders are still being supplied to households.
"The 45 kg cylinders were not delivered yesterday or today due to unavailability, but the shipment will arrive today, and deliveries will resume as usual from tomorrow," Abdulla said.
He also reassured that Maldive Gas, a subsidiary of the State Trading Organization (STO), is in a strong financial position and there are no financial issues affecting supply.
