Food establishments will be open from 5:30 pm to 3:00 am throughout Ramadan and from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am during 6 days of Shawwal. Stores will remain open from 5:30 am to 1:00 am starting February 15, until the end of Ramadan and 6 days Shawwal.
Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has announced the operating hours for food and beverage establishments during Ramadan and the six days of Shawwal.
According to the ministry, food establishments will be open from 5:30 pm to 3:00 am throughout Ramadan. During the six days of Shawwal, they will operate from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am.
Stores will remain open from 5:30 am to 1:00 am starting February 15, continuing until the end of Ramadan and the six days of Shawwal.
The ministry also said that 24-hour food establishments and stores located in residential areas must also adhere to these hours.
Businesses have been instructed to comply with the directive.
According to the Islamic calendar, Ramadan will to begin on March 1.
