Maldives Food and Drug Authority (MFDA) has banned the sale of 'Pantop 40 Injection', a gastritis injection, due to quality issues found in the medication.
Maldives Food and Drug Authority (MFDA) has banned the sale of 'Pantop 40 Injection', a gastritis injection, due to quality issues found in the medication.
In a statement released today, MFDA said that quality issues had been discovered in batch number EMPH243030 of Pantop 40 injection. Due to this, sale and use of it is now banned.
MFDA appeals to the public to inform them if this injection is found at any pharmacy or health care provider.
Pantop 40 is generally used to alleviate gastritis.
