A group of students from MI College’s School of Agriculture has traveled to Thailand for a five-day study trip to gain hands on experience in advanced agricultural techniques.
The trip is designed to expose students to new methods in sustainable agriculture, agribusiness development, and modern farming technologies.

Mariyam Waheedha, a top achiever in the college's agriculture program, highlighted the importance of learning about pest control and humidity management in a country with a climate similar to Maldives.
MI College Rector Lamya Abdul Haadhee said that the trip is a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical knowledge and explore creative innovations in the field.
She said that such experiences would inspire students to contribute to the sustainable growth of Maldives’ agricultural sector.
The initiative aligns with MI College’s commitment to experiential learning, providing students with international exposure to enhance their skills and practical understanding of agriculture.
